Pretty Covers for Poison Study at Luna then Mira

I learned at Dear Author that Jennifer Cruisie commented on Miss Snark's comments on Anne Stuart's complaints about her publisher Mira in an interview at All About Romance. *pauses for a deep breath*

Various people have weighed in and will, I think, continue to. I don't feel like tracking them all down now, but later I will perhaps add links to this post. If you know of any, or want links to your comments/round up posts on the topic, feel free to leave them in comments. You may comment anonymously, but the commetns are screened.

Who knows how much longer this'll go round but I do hope to hear Miss Snark's rebuttal. *hunts for popcorn* And I do look forward to getting my copy of Cold as Ice, AKA "the one with the not really bisexual hero". I haven't had much time to sit down and read a whole book lately, but I enjoyed the tone and spare style in what I skimmed of Black Ice.

And in news about Mira that isn't related to Anne Stuart, Maria Snyder's moving from Luna to Mira , and Poison Study is getting a new cover. Both are, IMHO gorgeous. (The Luna cover is above, the Mira cover is to the left there.) This will be affecting the release date of third book in the series, Fire Study, and you can read about it in the news page at Snyder's site. (Scroll down a little)

I like the original cover best for Poison Study.

It is good news for the author though that she is moving over to Mira.

I probably liked the first cover better but the second book Magic Study had an entirely different looking girl on the front so hiding the face probably makes good sense if they can't get the continuity issue right.
